Nearly half of Zambia’s population is younger than 14. HIV/AIDS affects 66% of Zambians. In Simukale Village alone, there are a large number of orphans who have no family unit to care for them. Luyando needs $200,000 to build the Children's Village and keep it staffed and running for the first 2 years. Preserving Culture: Our Zambian house parents connect with the local culture while cultivating a family environment. Mentoring: We want to raise men and women who create change in their culture. We equip them to share Jesus by spending time in their community with successful change-agents.
